BeatleMark (2011, January 9)
One of my favorite Bealtes lp\\\'s! I agree with a previous post about the added reverb. Makes it sound better! The 2nd side stereo is my fave! Love how the sound of \\\"I\\\'ll Be Back\\\" resonates in an empty room!
Martin Jackson Heights NY (2009, November 20)
I think Beatles 65 is better than Beatles For Sale at least soundwise. I always loved The Us version of their songs which always added a little reverb to give that nice sound in which the UK versions are always so bland.

One of my all-time faves!

Basically, this is the first half of Beatles for Sale with some extras. A good listen for sure, but definitely not as good as the original album.
All Music Guide (2002, March 10)
Dave Dexter, Jr. (a name which will live in infamy) "assisted" the Beatles by pulling eight tracks from Beatles for Sale, one from A Hard Day's Night, and both sides of the latest Beatles single ("I Feel Fine"/"She's a Woman") for the creation of this album. — William Ruhlmann
