Dmitry, I've noticed that nearly, if not all special characters are not reproducing properly on the forum. I mean, anything that deviates from the standard 26 letters, numbers and punctuation.
For instance this is an English Pound sign: £
It seems to be any character that I need to access using the 'alt' key. Though strangely, the dollar sign works. Oh well, I suppose it's no big deal really. Just that the other day a new member spelt out her name and it was illegible.
Don't lose any sleep over it!!!!
BTW, yours said BJ, thats - BEE, and JAY. Though oddly, yours are in a different font.
I use a Danish character set on a Danish keyboard. Though an English keyboard wouldn't have an e with an accent as part of it's main character set either.
What's UTF-8? I use a Mac. I can switch through character sets easily enough via the menu bar. But to have to do it to read something is a bit of a pain.
All you've got to do is choose love. That's how I live it now. I learned a long time ago, I can feed the birds in my garden. I can't feed them all. -- Ringo Starr, Rolling Stone magazine, May 2007
For all I know, Ringo might be a yogi disguised as a drummer! - George Harrison
It all depends on character set you chose in browser. If I use UTF-8 I see a pound and a dollar
I did that and it makes no difference. Sorry to be a pain, but is the security risk that high with enabling html code? There are one or two ways to make it safer.
