Besame mucho - only after looking up did i know it was "This joy is something new my arms are holding you" - Before i didn't kno what it was but guessed it was "i am forcing you" or something! still doesn't sound like it!

Hehe, I know what you mean McLennon... Kaleidoscope_Eyes and I used to think it was "this joyous song, think you, my arms enfolding you"

... and we couldn't even guess what Paul said in the next line, except for the word "before"!

Hmm...

I'd ask my friends to come and see... an Octopus's Garden with me ^___^

The inajagerjado bit in She Loves You.

I don't want to know the proper lyric for it, I like my inajagerjado bit.

In Ringo's You're Sixteen instead of "Now you're my angel divine" I heard " Now you're my age and divine" Which you know, does make sense (a bit).

How embarassing I just realised one I was mistaken of right up til NOW!

In 'two of us'

I though it was: 'the road that stretches out of here'

but it's actually' the road that stretches out ahead'

silly me

But every so often you come across something truly inspiring...

Thanks, Bobber. It was so strange to find another thread with the same title.

to think, for all these many years, I've been singing the Beatles most popular song incorrectly!  What I just learned last night has changed my life.  By reading Spitz's "Beatles" book, he had the lyric written down, and at first I didn't believe him.  Until I sang it with his words, and it suddenly made more sense than what I had previously believed.

What I previously believed:
"its such a feeling that my love - I get high, I get high, I get hiiighhh"

the real lyric:
"its such a feeling that my love - I can't hide, I can't hide, I can't hiiideeee"

Unbelievable.

Bob Dylan made the same mistake as you.

My problem is with She Loves You when they sing 'pride can hurt you too' I always thought they sang 'liken her to do' which isn't even modern english!

I Saw Her Standing There:

Correct Lyrics:
"And the way she looked, was way beyond compare..."
Sounds Like:
"And the way she looked, was way beyond the man..."

The f*ck?

Even though I've known the correct words for years, it still sounds like this...
