Paul- Right John? (nudge, nudge) John- Oh absolutely, Paul! Right, Ringo? Oh, come on, don't be shy, now! Ringo- Uh, right..... George- Can I say something....
I heard there's an enormous Helter Skelter version (27 minutes, or so). Where can I get it? And a 10-minute Revolution version? And a 12-minute Dig It version?

I'd ask again under "different conversations." Actually, I'll do it for you.

Welcome to the forums, Helterskelter ... hope you'll enjoy them!
The long Helter Skelter version doesn't exist on bootlegs ... so it must be still in the EMI vaults ... the Revolution (acoustic) and Dig It versions are on many famous bootlegs (From Kinfauns To Chaos and others) ... we've got our own bootlegforum, y'know ... ask Bobber for the password!
They were stoned during this weren't they? I watched on youtube twas funny gotta love them!
I 'm pretty sure that's another Beatle myth. They themselves have said it was a cigarette they smoked in the lav. To be honest it seems another example of John being less than honest with the truth (or to be charitable maybe he gets confused.) Was it not him also that said the Beatles jammed with Elvis when they met, a fact no one else remembers?

Right, on Anthology George, Paul, and Ringo did not remember jamming with Elvis. BUT if you look on the Elvis website, they've got a detailed story about the guys jamming with Elvis there! So what is the truth?
We know Paul didn't feel like he could play because Elvis was already on bass. Ringo in his own words played football. George was out back smoking a joint (a story confirmed in one of those books-- "Here Comes the Sun", I think. He only stayed 20 minutes and then left.) So, where was John? He could have been jamming with Elvis, since the Elvis site mentions it. But it's strange that none of the others remembers this.
Whoops! This is a Beatles pic thread, so:
All you've got to do is choose love. That's how I live it now. I learned a long time ago, I can feed the birds in my garden. I can't feed them all. -- Ringo Starr, Rolling Stone magazine, May 2007
