After BBC session, photographic sessions with Dezo Hoffmann at mens-wear store Cecil Gee, London, and outside the BBC Paris Studio. After BBC session, the Beatles drive to Stowe School, Buckinghamshire. Performance at the Roxburgh Hall, Stowe School. Photographer David Magnus takes pictures of the performance, and at the Marble Hall. The Beatles spend the night at the Green Man Hotel, in the village of Syresham, Buckinghamshire.

EMI House, ground floor studio. Performance before EMI executives, journalists and photographers from British pop newspapers. The Beatles are presented with awards, a silver disc for Please Please Me single. Evening. New Public Baths, Leyton, London. Main Bath Hall. Beatles live performance.

Teddington TV Studios, Middlesex. Filming for ABC-TV's `Thank Your Lucky Stars'. After they drive to the Crawdaddy Club. Evening. The Beatles see the Rolling Stones at the Crawdaddy Club, Richmond, Surrey, London. After the show, party at Jagger, Jones and Richards's flat (102 Edith Grove, West Brompton, London). The Beatles attend, staying until 4am.

John escapes to Liverpool to visit Cynthia and see Julian for the first time at the General Hospital, Sefton. He announces he chose Brian as godfather, and that he will soon leave with him on vacation to Spain.

The Royal Albert Hall, London. 9.10-10.15pm. Broadcasting live BBC's `Swingin' Sound '63': `Twist And Shout'; `From Me To You'. Only appearance on live concerts at the Albert Hall transmitted by the BBC. The bill includes Del Shannon, who decides to record a Beatles' song. Jane attends `Swingin' Sound '63' with reporter Tony Aspler, of `Radio Times', to give him her impressions of the show. After the concert at the Albert Hall, Paul meets Jane.
