Lunch at the Decca's session executive club on Albert Enbankment, of Brian, Dick Rowe and Beecher Stevens; Rowe and Stevens communicate Brian Decca's rejection.

[Or around this day.] Brian goes to HMV's store, 363 Oxford Street, London, to have acetates cut from tapes of some songs of the Decca audition, and chat with Bob Boast, disc-cutter Jim Foy, and Sid Colman, who contacts him with George Martin.

Brian writes to Dick Rowe, about Rowe's decision of not signing the Beatles to a recording contract with Decca.

Brian writes to Bert Kaempfert, asking him for Beatles freedom from their contract.
