Before the show Brian makes it clear that if the Beatles situation is raised, he will add nothing to the statements already made, to the effect that nothing has been decided about their future activities.

Concert of the Four Tops at the Saville Theatre. 2 performances. Epstein says this is the first of many Sunday concerts he plans to present at the Saville. After the show Epstein hosts a party at 24 Chapel Street. Guests, among others: The Four Tops, John, George, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, Georgie Fame, Donovan, Eric Burdon, Hilton Valentine and Chris Curtis.

The front page of the `Sunday Telegraph' reports that two of the Beatles have approached Allen Klein through a third party. Klein, in London, did not announce the story himself or made himself available for comment. Brian dismisses the story as ridiculous. George and Ringo are said to be disturbed by the report; John, annoyed about the suggestion of their being disenchanted with Brian. Paul is abroad and cannot be reached for comment.
